Sault Ste. Marie man appointed to Michigan Board of Dentistry


LANSING, Mich. (WLUC) – Wednesday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer introduced appointments to the Michigan Board of Dentistry.

Among the many appointees was Raymond DeWitt, Ed.D., of Sault Ste Marie, who’s an assistant professor of arithmetic at Lake Superior State College. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Grasp of Science in Arithmetic from Montana State College and a Physician of Schooling from the College of Wyoming.

Dr. DeWitt is appointed to characterize most of the people for a time period commencing July 7, 2021 and expiring June 30, 2025. He succeeds Joshua Goodrich whose time period expired June 30, 2021.

The Michigan Board of Dentistry was shaped to control the apply of dentistry and dental hygiene, authorize dental assistants, and certify specialists within the fields of orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgical procedure, and oral pathology.

Others appointed had been:

  • Jennifer R. Fuller, DDS, of Bloomfield, is a dentist and the proprietor of Fuller Normal Dentistry. She holds a Physician of Dental Surgical procedure from the College of Michigan and she or he studied superior common dentistry on the Columbia College School of Dental Medication. Dr. Fuller is appointed to characterize dentists for a time period commencing July 7, 2021 and expiring June 30, 2025. She succeeds Patricia Roels whose time period expired June 30, 2021.
  • Mark M. Johnston, DDS, of Lansing, is a dentist and the proprietor of Mark M. Johnston, DDS. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in PreMed and Sociology from Dartmouth School and a Physician of Dental Surgical procedure from the College of Michigan. Dr. Johnston is reappointed to characterize dentists for a time period commencing July 7, 2021 and expiring June 30, 2025.
  • Craig Spangler, DDS, of Bloomfield Hills, is a dentist and proprietor of Craig C. Spangler, DDS, PC. He earned his Physician of Dental Surgical procedure from the College of Michigan. Dr. Spangler is appointed to fill a brand new seat representing dentists for a time period commencing July 7, 2021 and expiring June 30, 2023.
  • Daybreak M. Strehl, of East Jordan, is the regional oral well being coordinator for the Well being Division of Northwest Michigan. She holds an Affiliate of Arts in Dental Hygiene from Kalamazoo Valley Group School. Strehl is appointed to characterize dental hygienists for a time period commencing July 7, 2021 and expiring June 30, 2025. She succeeds Kathleen Inman whose time period expired June 30, 2021.
