
Governor Gretchen Whitmer on Wednesday appointed an Higher Peninsula man to the Michigan Board of Dentistry.
Raymond DeWitt, Ed.D., of Sault Ste Marie, is an assistant professor of arithmetic at Lake Superior State College. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Grasp of Science in Arithmetic from Montana State College and a Physician of Training from the College of Wyoming. Dr. DeWitt is appointed to symbolize most of the people for a time period commencing July 7, 2021 and expiring June 30, 2025. He succeeds Joshua Goodrich whose time period expired June 30, 2021.
The Michigan Board of Dentistry was fashioned to manage the apply of dentistry and dental hygiene, authorize dental assistants, and certify specialists within the fields of orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgical procedure, and oral pathology.
These appointments are topic to the recommendation and consent of the Senate.
